sorted byIMHO you are seriously overstating the risk from butted steel rusting away. (edited)
Sure it'll be fine on a road bike, but gravel when you're expecting it to get dirty just keeps clogging
It's not going to rust out, and triple butted steels can last for years. If you crash it headlong into something unmovable, the strong forks will transfer the force to the frame, bending the top and down tube. This will write the frame off, but avoid that and it should last. DN6 in itself is a meaningless name, but the tubing is a standard Taiwan made Chromo
The derailleur is fine, just keep it reasonably clean and lubricated. I've done loads of miles with a Force derailleur (pretty much identical to the Rival) and it changes perfectly.
Point about the wheels is fair enough. The Fulcrums are OK, but they are a bit heavy. The bike would really benefit from a wheel upgrade, which would cost from about £350. If you sold the Fulcrums, I'd guess you'd only get £100 for them even if unused, given how cheaply they get sold off for. Still, a nice gravel bike for a resulting £1250 is OK.
Had them on my gravel bike for 2 yrs. Great value upgrade
Edit. You seem to say this about every bike deal. I don't understand expensive watches or expensive knives or cars but you seem to? (edited)
It would be a good deal 7-8 months ago at peak summer demand and with the covid prices still pushing up but now I am not sure
Hard to comment on the frame itself. Cheap steel can be both amazing and rubbish. The use of thin tube profiles suggests it would be more springy and comfortable if not very stiff. Great for lighter riders and less-loaded up bikepacking setups.
Geometry IMO is great, middle-ground for a gravel bike. 425mm chainstay should make it nice and nimble while the 45mm offset for should add stability. 70mm bottom bracket drop should allow the use of 650b with larger tyres since the 700c clearance for 43mm is not amazing (should still be more than sufficient for UK gravel).
Also love the choice of colours and full set of mounts. Shame there are no triple-mounts on the fork legs. But that's about the only complaint. I'd be all over this if I didn't have two gravel bikes already
