I purchased the 9000 heads for my 7000 series and I can confirm they fit. Only had the one shave but much better than what they have just replaced - but I would have expected the same on a like for like replacement after 2 years use. As I see it, the blades are the only significant difference between the 9000 and 7000 series and so fitting the new blades is a big upgrade. After a few weeks, I should be able to confirm. (edited)
