I have upgraded to this headset from the Meta Quest and have never looked back (no pun intended)It is lighter, higher resolution and has a great (colour) pass through camera.

    Awesome :-)

Lack of games was my concern they are coming but I like being able to sideload to the quest. I also had a bit of light leak on mine as well which was not ideal.

If you had a choice, this or PSVR2?

I think that will be more obvious if you only have a high end PC or a PS5. If you have both then it comes down to game preferences, quantity on pc/exclusives on ps5

Think I would hold fire on this and wait and see what the Quest 3 has to offer later in the year.

I tried the Quest Pro and although it is an improvement on the Quest 2 I honestly felt like it was on a par with the Quest Pro for the non business user (and the pass through on the Quest Pro is a lot lower quality than on the Pico). That said, I will be looking at the Quest 3 when it eventually arrives as well! Also, have to say that I am disappointed with the augmented reality demonstrated so far on the Quest pro - even the 8 year old Hololens is better and both the Hololens 2 and Magic Leap blow it out of the water at the moment = more software needed and better pass through cameras!!

I am also using the Pico streaming app which, after a few early issues is now working extremely well, rendering a very high resolution (Better than my HP G2), and is very easy to set up. (edited)

Pancake lenses are game-changing in the Pico 4. Everything is so much clearer with them.

    Excellent headset!

I have a lot of reflected light or glare with mine. Don't know if that is normal.

Pico 4 is brilliant. Upgraded from a rift s when meta updated it out of functionality. Its a great device and as long as Pico dont nerf it like Meta did with my rift then i will stick with Pico going forward.

What happened to your Rift S? Mine still works fine.

Where to try them for some time as I am worried I am getting vertigo so would like to try without buying and sending back if not working for me.

Just wondering if the vertigo in the Pico is a lot better over PS4 PSVR headset. (edited)

    Yes. Higher frame-rate helps.
