Sony PlayStation 5 - 825 GB (Disc console)
The Sony PlayStation 5 rewrites the rules of what a console can do. Combining a custom CPU, GPU and lightning fast SSD storage, it'll load up all your games almost instantly, no matter how expansive.
Gaming graphics just got a lot more realistic. The PS5 works seamlessly with 4K HDR TVs, with the ability to output Ultra HD graphics with a 120 Hz refresh rate. If you have a 4K display, you can play at up to 120 fps for incredibly smooth, precise motion.
With support for HDR content, every game, character, and scene looks vivid and alive with colour. And ray-tracing technology creates true-to-life shadows and reflections to reach a new level of realism in supported games.
The all new PlayStation 5 DualSense controller transforms the way every game feels. The controller features haptic feedback, letting you feel the effects of the actions you take in the game.
The triggers have changed, too. With dynamic resistance levels, Adaptive Triggers make everything from taking a shot on goal to overtaking on the racetrack feel unique.
PlayStation Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion - PS5
Reunion is the fully remasteredversion of Crisis Core, the much-loved Final Fantasy VII prequel. You want everything next gen, you got it. That means completely updated HD graphics, a reimagined UI and an updated combat system. Even the soundtrack has been remastered. In a nutshell: classic story, modern gaming.
Good to know
- The game kicks off seven years before Finally Fantasy VII and, as Zack Fair, you investigate Shinra Electric's mysterious experiments
- As well as Zack Fair, loads of other classic characters from Final Fantasy VII feature, including Cloud
- Why is Sephiroth such a big meanie in FF7? He's a huge part of this prequel so you get heaps of backstory
PlayStation LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - PS5
Explore the galaxy far, far away and play through your favourite moments of all nine films of the Star Wars saga.
What we love
- Fly to some of the most iconic planets and relive all the classic events, like podracing with Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine or Ewok Revolt on Endor
- Start the storyline with Anakin in The Phantom Menace or anywhere else across all 9 episodes
- With hundreds of playable characters, you can help the forces of good as Qui-Gonn Jinn, Chewbacca or Leia Organa or even join the dark side and play as Kylo Ren, Darth Maul or Palpatine
Good to know
- Enjoy a variety of gameplay from relaxed exploration and puzzles to high-speed aerial combat and swordfights with lightsabers
- Command a massive range of vehicles you know from the series - take down AT-AT walkers with T-47 airspeeders or jump to light speed aboard the Millenium Falcon
- Play the riveting single player mode or take on the campaign with a friend in the local co-op mode
PlayStation Saints Row: Day One Edition - PS5
Welcome to the weird, wild west. Set in the city of Santo Ileso, it's the biggest Saints Row map yet. Explore the sandbox open-world as you build your criminal empire from the ground up. Become the boss of The Saints as you take over the city, waging war against rival factions along the way. Expect blockbuster action, criminal side hustles and lots of jokes thrown in too.
Good to know
- Whether you want to look stylish or just plain silly, express yourself with almost endless character customisation
- From revolvers to rocket launchers, there are loads of customisable weapons to choose from too
- Delve into Santo Ileso's nine districts as you make your mark on the city
- There are loads of ways to get around - take your pick of cars, bikes, planes and helicopters or just glide around in your wingsuit
- Play the whole game (or just a few missions) with a friend with drop-in/drop-out co-op

sorted byBut could easily be less next week.
Remakes, remasters and ugly indie games are not what I bought both new consoles for.
The main reason we didn't see deals on the PS5/Series X for over two years is because they were so hard to get hold of. Now they're both easily available they're offering more competitive packages.
It's also Easter so it's normal to have deals. Sony have currently discounted the majority of their big first party titles. That doesn't mean they're selling badly or getting a sequel any time soon.
Wait a minute!! Is this the signs of a new PS5 on the horizon? :/ (edited)
Which in itself sounds ridiculous for a games console that is nearly 2 and a half years old.
My Series X cost less than £350 on launch day due to strategic discounted Microsoft Store vouchers before the pre-order date.
