Try adding a random number, I tried it with a 8 digit one & they accepted it although I didn't go through with checkout as they ain't got my size, Remember to order a size above your normal with Salomon though. (edited)

I paid 100 quid for these and they are brilliant - I use them to walk 10 miles to and from work 5 times a week for the last 5 months they're nearly as good as new - if you had them at this price congrats (edited)

I’ve had 3 pairs of Salomon walking shoes that are allegedly Gore-tex and every pair has leaked after no time at all. Their customer service is great to replace them but i’d rather they were waterproof as advertised!

The only pair I like is my hiking boots. Actually work as advertised so there’s hope for these (edited)

Quality isn't what it was. These however I feel are one of those items thats true price is around £60 never worth the rrp.

For the life of me I don't know why Go Outdoors hangs on to its out of date and out of touch membership card ripoff.
Just give everybody the same low price

Yeah it's very strange, it always puts me off shopping in there. Just add a pound or two on most items and it will be barely noticeable

Never buy from shops or websites expecting you to pay to join a club to get the non inflated price.

First reasonably nice looking Salomon's I've seen in a long time. Heat. I have no idea how well made they are these days though?

Sadly the $64,000 question, since the "name" is all too often bought up, then production shifts to a sub standard manufacturer, not that I'm aware of that being the case with THIS brand.

That said, I've had a few sizing issues with Go Outdoors, where I ended up suggesting you/we "Go ELSEWHER"

Judging by the reviews on other sites they run hella small.

Most Salomon shoes & boots run at least half a size smaller than usual and tend to be quite narrow fitting in my opinion.
Had loads. They’re so comfy, but seem to have some sort of built in non-waterproofness.
Still can’t help buying them when they’re on offer but every pair has leaked even if I’m really careful at cleaning the grit and dust etc off them

I bought these from a deal on here two years ago and they have been the comfiest shoes I've ever owned. Been waiting for them to come up again to get another pair. Not that the originals are worn out - there's loads of wear left yet.

Bought a couple of pairs of top end Salomon shoes over last 2 years. Soles worn down within weeks like they were made of putty on one and material ripped after approx 4 months on the other.
Were fantastic brand a few years back but not touching them at any price now. Suspect they’ve changed manufacturers to very substandard quality one

I bought some Salomon X Ultra LTR GTX Mens Hiking Shoes around 4 years ago, paying just under £90. Sadly I went for a size 9. I took them on holiday as my only shoe and quickly realised they were very tight, but as I had nothing else to wear I used them so couldn't return them. I read online about stuffing them with zip bags full of water and freezing them and this did work to widen them, but they are still a bit short in the toe area. My left foot seems to be a bit longer than my right and after a while my toes get sore.

I've gone for this deal and ordered a size 10. Hopefully I will get on better with these. (edited)
