    Just so you all know, I got a 55 inch Samsung QLed bought new in 2021 mid and the other day while playing ps5 it started flickering and now it won’t turn on, no standby light and £800+ ish in the air. Not to forget to mention it was hardly in use and it is wall mounted. I can provide a model number if anyone is interested. (edited)

    Warranty claim and if out of warranty then claim under consumer rights as you have the right to expect a product to last for a “reasonable time” and for electrical that’s widely accepted as six years. Note if claiming under this then your claim is against the RETAILER not the manufacturer.

    I’ve had a washing machine drum and an IPad replaced using these rights (edited)

    Tbh I would take a chance on the Hisense. You'll at least get a dependable 5 year warranty and performance should be similar.

    I have the 65" of this in my bedroom, it's located quite left of my bed and the white lights on the display are awful. I can't even see the top left of the screen if I'm watching something with lots of dark scenes. Don't recommend.

    I've got the 65 inch 2021 model. It is my main TV. I've got no complaints, I'm using it since Dec 2021. It is an entry level QLED, which is fine for me.
