    Really fast read, but only 30mbps write makes it a no for me when you consider the crazily cheap deals for regular usb-a pen drives at the mo. They seem to be around 15-20 but when you can get 128gb for under £7, it's a no brainer.

    I'd be interested in what fast drives people are actually using.

    Happy enough with my axe for £45, nice and fast, had 260 and around 360MB/s depending on port. I thought it might have a metal body but doesn't unfortunetly. (edited)

    Tested this in the laptop which has a USB-C port, and the write speed is better than expected - doesn't do that thing where it slows down after the first couple of hundred meg either. The fastest non-SSD removable drive I've used.

    I got the one from the deal, it gets 110MB/s writes. Ish. Where's the crap one, so I can tell them apart?

    *edit: Oh, I see it says 30MB/s in the UK advert. The advert was wrong, at least for the one that got posted to me. (edited)
