Would this be a decent card for the Steamdeck,?

Yes best you can get, you will not notice much difference in load times but definitely will when downloading titles or if you dual boot windows. The steam decks  port is limited to 100mbps so if you don’t care about download speeds there’s not much benefit between is and the non pro variant but at this price its a no brainer imo (edited)

You'd have to be off your trolley to use a 1TB SDCard in any device and think it won't corrupt or die... 🙃

I kept my note 9 512GB as a media device only (no more security updates for it unfortunately).
Absolutely love it and will be gutted when it eventually dies.
Storage size is a must, don't care what people say about cloud or whatever.

    For a V30 card ... if it was a V60 or V90 spec i would buy. not for a V30 1TB.

    SanDisk Extreme Pro 1 TB microSDXC Memory Card + SD Adapter with A2 App Performance + Rescue Pro Deluxe 170 MB/s Class 10, UHS-I, U3, V30 amzn.eu/d/e…tOj

Been watching this one for a while.
The price difference and the number is reviews is quite significant :/
