I’ve got the Sony WF-1000XM3 which are almost unbeatable, but at a cost. I wanted some cheaper ones for the gym, and for when I’m out and about that I’m not too bothered about losing. Ordered all 3 of the P2, P2 Mini and P2i to test them out. With Amazon you can send which ones you don’t like back. I found the P2 to have the best sound, but only just, however they just didn’t fit my ears that well. The P2i is just behind in terms of sound, but fit my ears so much better. For me the P2 mini were just too bassy and the treble was too harsh and tinny, though probably great for the gym and running.

At the end of the day, at this price range, it comes down to whatever you prefer. You aren’t going to get class-leading sound, so you choose what to compromise on. My advice would be to buy 2 or 3 different models, try them out and return what you don’t need. For what it’s worth, I kept the P2i.

You know Amazon's return policy isn't a trial period right? Read up on distance selling regulations. If you've used them then try sending them back you've likely lied on your return request form to get away with it.

Not something you should be advising everyone to do.

Terrible sound quality these. The P2s are far better.

Disagree. You may have been unlucky with your P2i's. Get these.

Bought these last time they were £20, and they're pretty decent for the price.

Bought these last night and just had them delivered. I don’t know if I received a defective unit but the left earpiece gives a lot of white noise whenever it’s active. They also don’t seem to have mono audio when you use only one earpiece (it is correctly seeing that I’m only using one because the button functions change). Other than that the sound quality is ok for the price but decided to return them for a refund.

I bought it twice already for a bit more... I really like it with good battery life... Even survived one wash in the washing machine

Wanted to try a pair of wireless to see how I get on with them but without committing to £££££. For 20 quid these are superb. Really good sound for price point and reasonably comfortable.  Need to see how they fare in gym. But happy with the purchase.

Thanks OP. Decided to take a punt on these as seem decent enough for the money.

Mine arrived today and I am impressed so far. I've put mine on podcast mode and adjusted the eq on my phone to get the best sound, though it was by no means terrible out of the box. I have no point of reference as never used wireless earbuds before, though I'd certainly recommend these based on my first impressions. Thanks again OP.

Got these. They are very good for the money. I had the original Life P2s for quite some time and they were impressive.

Sounds ridiculous but does anyone know of a strap that would fit these? My soundbud slims have just died and these seem a good replacement... but I'm guaranteed to lose one of these at work :/ (edited)

I assume if you bought some glasses holder they would work, they usually have adjustable ends (edited)

Do these stop playing when removed from the ear? If not, does anyone know good value ones that do that? (but not Airpods)

No they don't, you have to double press the buttons if you want it to pause

I’ve had these before and returned them as the pair was faulty, ordered them again and I think these are faulty too.

First pair mic was horrible sounded robotic.
Second pair (current ones) I can’t hear well during calls, but the other end can hear me fine.

Guess Anker need to improve their quality control, going back.
