My daughter's spotify trial ran out a few months back and have been waiting for some kind of deal from spotify. There never seems to be much on offer for returning customers. (There's still a catch that if you cancelled after April, it's not valid) . For those who cancelled before though... it's not too bad to get through the summer.

I'd rather it cheaper in general but it is what it is I guess. If anyone knows of any other deals, please let me know. Thank you.

Just need to make sure I cancel before the 3 months.

    Bit unreliable to get working and critically doesn’t support downloads. Also risk of malware as with any sideloaded app. Not convinced that the hack will work with Spotify Connect either, since that uses Spotify servers on the Connect device and not the phone itself.

    So personally I wouldn’t recommend this suggestion.

    It doesn't support Downloads or Spotify Connect but installing it and setting it up is as easy as any other app. And there's zero risk of malware if you get it from a trusted site.

    When I had it on Android, I never had a single issue.

    Downloads never bothered me personally. In all the years i've been using Spotify, I think i've downloaded one album to listen to offline but that was only really to try the feature. I've got a couple of devices that use Spotify connect but again, it's a feature i rarely, if ever, use. But horses for courses I suppose.

    The cheapest way to get Spotify Premium is to set up a family share. I pay £2.50 a month for mine that way.

    Nothing, unless you can prove it was "hacked". The likelihood is that they'll basically say it's your fault for not securing it with a decent password.

    If you can find another 3 month free trial then just use a new email address and sign up again.

    I assume you signed up via a VPN? How would it work for someone already on Spotify?

    To answer my own question, looks like it just needs an Indian Card. When you go to purchase it asks for Card details in order to verify.

    I have YouTube family using Indian VPN. I just used my UK Amex. I assume this could be the same so not sure why you would need a local Indian card?
