ACTION AND STEALTH
After being corrupted by the Ring over hundreds of years, Gollum has developed exceptional agility and sharp wits. Use his unique skills to explore and infiltrate legendary locations and dizzying heights. Find your way past the Orcs as you climb the Dark Tower of Barad-dûr and give the Elves the slip in the mysterious Mirkwood.
While Gollum is no fighter, he is more than capable of strangling a careless enemy when the opportunity presents itself… or of finding a more creative and less risky way of getting out of trouble.

I also think all the 'Why would I want to play as Gollum?' folks ignore that he goes through a lot in the events leading up to LOTR. There's definitely a whole lot of interesting story to flesh out there. (edited)
It's wildly irrational and hurts the industry.
And to be clear, people dont seem to realize this isn't some AAA action game or whatever. Daedalus, the developers, make 'classic style' PC adventure games, and they are not some huge studio built for really high end presentation values or anything, either. Having a 'not full price' price point is entirely fitting.
I am a huge lotr fan but idk looks kinda disappointing. I think this will fall in price quick.
