Been keeping an eye on this or a while. I was eligible for the £5 Amazon pickup deal so got this for £14.95 including delivery.

HORROR ENGINEERING
The Callisto Protocol is a next-generation take on survival horror from the mind of Glen Schofield. Blending atmosphere, tension, and brutality with terrifying moments of helplessness and humanity, The Callisto Protocol immerses players in a pulse-pounding story where unspeakable horrors lurk around every corner.

UNCOVER THE SECRETS OF THE UNITED JUPITER COMPANY
Set on Jupiter’s dead moon Callisto in the year 2320, The Callisto Protocol casts players as Jacob Lee, an inmate in Black Iron Prison. When a mysterious outbreak throws the moon into chaos, Jacob must face his darkest fears to defeat the bloodthirsty creatures that stalk him as he unravels the dark mysteries at the heart of the powerful United Jupiter Company.

MASTER BRUTAL, STRATEGIC COMBAT
The Callisto Protocol challenges players to master a thrilling blend of hand-to-hand and ranged combat, including a unique gravity weapon once used by Black Iron guards to control the prison population. Players will be forced to get up close and personal with their grotesque opponents, hacking off limbs, blasting off legs, and getting creative with whatever is at their disposal to survive each life-or-death encounter.

EXPERIENCE THE ISOLATION OF JUPITER'S DEAD MOON
One of the most hostile, isolated environments in the universe, Callisto looms large over Jacob’s desperate struggle to survive. Players must not only contend with the horrors of Black Iron Prison, but also the centuries-old secrets that plague Jupiter’s long-dead moon, both above and below the surface.

Picked this up for £12 the other week. I actually like it even though it got some hate. Is dead space similar? - Looking to get that for a decent price on ps5

Dead Space is what this game wanted to be but messed up really poorly. Dead Space is a hundred times better than this dumpster fire. Play it and you’ll realise.

Still too expensive for what it is - whether or not you agree with the Dead space comparisons, it's just a very boring game with a formulaic very predictable story, incredibly boring & repetitive combat...It will come to PS Plus at some point I am sure, and worth a look then - but not something i'd pay for specifically.

I had pre ordered this on steam, played it and refunded..and I very rarely do that with games, but just could not get on with this one.

If you want an atmospheric space station crawler (if you can call this genre that!) then the dead space series is vastly superior in pretty much every way, although I don't like the comaparison that much since they are so different.

Whenever I see the cover art to this game I always think itslike Death Stranding and Returnal had a baby. Just me... OK

    Today on; random hyperbole generator.

People are so dramatic when they don't like a game.

Playing at the mine on the PS4. It is really repetitive. Fighting the same enemy as you progress with basically the same weapons.

I mean you could well be describing Dead Space, I'm looking forward to playing it.

Looks like my type of game and will pickup but in no rush so will hold out for the PS4 version to be £15. Dont have a PS5 yet.

    Still too much (for me)…

Got it for £20 a couple of weeks back. Combat is strange to say the least. Not impressed. For £20 worth a play and sell

It looks like a candidate for monthly game in PS+.

Played it. Would rather tear up a £20 note and spend my time taping it back together.
