Insane 50% sale on this 2021 Timex watch! £105 for a mechanical field watch with sapphire crystal is a bargain
Description
Directly inspired by military-issued designs from decades past, our Field Post 38 Mechanical watch does more than look the part — it features a sturdy crown and screw-down case back giving it 100 meters of water resistance, plus luminous hands and dial markings, a hand-winding mechanical movement and an impressively-tough anti-reflective sapphire crystal. All that functionality comes in a 38mm stainless-steel case — perfectly sized for nearly every wrist and every occasion — fitted with a comfortable brown Ecco™ DriTan™ leather strap that was crafted to last using eco-friendly methods. sorted byThey’ve also got “Field Post Solar” in 36mm and 41mm. These look similar to the North Field solar/sapphire watches on the Timex site.
The 36mm’s strap looks different to any other I can find (e.g. Timex website) but you can just about make out “sapphire” on the back case shot.

The 41mm seems to have a lighter case than any other version I can find with the same dial colour (and oddly has a white date complication.)

I wonder if that’s a special they do for the fashion outlets? I’d pull the trigger on the 41mm if it has sapphire! (edited)
It does seem strange that they're different to the models on the Timex, maybe a retailer exclusive? I would be very surprised if that 41mm didn't have a sapphire crystal, considering all of the other models do, plus it mentions "anti-reflective coating" which would be strange to have on anything other than sapphire.
You could always order it and return if it doesn't!

Had to send the black one back as it wouldn’t charge, even after several days in direct sunlight.
