Dr. Chris Peyton, DVM, CAC, CVA, CCRP, is the Chief of Staff at Western Veterinary Clinic and has spent many years working in the Veterinary Field. As a Native of Kansas, he attended Kansas State University and graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Animal Science. He spent the next two years working at Western Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant, before returning to Kansas State University and graduating with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2007. His intrigue for understanding lameness and compassion to help injured and maturing animals led him to pursue animal chiropractic school. He graduated from Options for Animals Chiropractic School in Wellsville, KS in 2009 with a National and International Certification in Animal Chiropractic work for small and large animals. He continued his pursuit of helping animals in non-traditional therapies at The Chi Institute in Reddick, FL. He graduated as a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist for small and large animals in 2011. He then decided to pursue how he could rehabilitate animals after trauma or surgery, by attending the University of Tennessee Canine Rehabilitation School and graduated as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner in 2016.

    Thanks Boz There can be a long wait most of the time and not to mention the cost " So I won't " Doh!! to get a dog which is specially trained specifically just for you at a specialist centre and you get to take it home when it's eventually ready and they have trained you too etc, I need a service dog myself so in process of trying to get another dog but this could be a great option, if my disabilities will allow but if not still be able to teach extra stuff like bringing me a can of coke out the fridge with out putting holes in the can
