    Most of Kahneman's specific assertions in this book have been disproved in the decades since. That in no way takes away from the book, it's still a fascinating read and thought exercise.

    I'm a big fan of Kahneman (I studied business & economics in Uni) and I love his writing style. Thoughtful, open, explorative.

    And in general, read anything Kahneman has written!

    Brilliant brilliant book, the author a psychologist won a nobel prize in economics, that's how good this is.

    it's a boring book.
    just read a summary.

    2 systems.
    1 thinks really fast
    2 thinks really slow.

    slow and deliberate thinking leads to fast reactions etc.

    that's why tiger woods doesn't sit there thinking about his shot, where as mr amateur golfer has longer to think about the move
