sorted byI lived 50+ years on this planet struggling with jar lids, until I discovered the secret....
Its all about the vacuum seal holding the lid on a new jar, use the tip of a small spoon and gently prise under the lid where there's small gaps / against the glass.
You only need move it a millimeter if that until you hear the hiss.... the lid is now loose !
I bought after it was recommended by sorted food on YouTube but 30 seconds of looking didn't find the video
