    I like Whyte and Mackay, not pretending to be a whisky connoisseur but for 17 quid a litre this is great value, heat.

    Same price in Asda for the last year...
    No idea of the reference to Jim Beam which is a bourbon and therefore tastes absolutely nothing like W&M. Comparable to Bells, Grouse, and decent supermarket own brand whiskies.
    A mixing whisky (- cola, lemonade, ginger ale, etc.) and definitely not a bourbon.

    Britain's Extra Tangy under-rated whisky answer to Jim Beam bourbon. Perfect 3rd or so glass after a session begun with lowland single malts.
