A good tip for people buying a used xbox is the following. Register your console on the xbox website with your serial number. Once you register your console it will tell you the age of the console and if there is any warranty left and more importantly when the warranty period began. I purchased a console from amazon warehouse in the past and once I registered the console it told me the warranty period was expired as it was around 3 years old! I assume someone swapped out a open box one for their old console as additionally it wasn't working properly (edited)

There’s a sticker on the back of the console that tells you when it was manufactured anyway to make it a slightly easier process

Better to get cheap Xbox credit and buy it on the MS Store

Get new with damaged box from Currys Ebay for £370. Stock comes and goes, but worth keeping an eye out for them.

Used Very Good can be opened and never used, usually from Amazon it's just a customer return and it is mint. Amazon has a good returns policy, so take a punt and return it if you're not happy.

I've bought many MacBooks like this on Amazon and they're usually just pint with like 5 charge cycles and 6 months left on the warranty, they've just been sitting in their warehouse for months.

I purchased an Xbox Series X from Amazon Warehouse and it has a common issue. It kept rebooting during certain games and Microsoft said I could send it back to them for a repair. I decided against it and returned it. I am hoping that it is not just restocked.
