A bit harsh! The C64 mini was £31 last time I looked, and the Amiga includes a CD32-style controller and a classic-style Amiga mouse. So I would say £40 would be a sweet price for this.

Gods, Turrican 2, The Chaos Engine, The Secret of Monkey Island, Speedball 2, Flashback, Another World, The First Samurai, Bubba & Stix, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis...so many great memories. (edited)

I could only dream of having an Amiga when I was younger but played on it at my rich spoilt friends house. It was amazing to me at the time. Kick off 2 and Pacmania for example. This IMO is still too expensive but can see the attraction especially for those who had one as a youth.

Yeah, you can emulate on a bland raspberry pi, or your PC etc - But this thing looks so damn cute on my shelf

I mean, I've gotta be honest - It stays there as well. Cannon fodder holds up surprisingly well, but if you can emulate a version of a game that was also on SNES/Megadrive - that's usally the best bet as using 'up' to jump rather than a button gets tedious really quick.

I don't see the value in this. It's just an emulator in a massive case that looks like an Amiga. 🤷‍♂️ Maybe people should start 3d printing one for the pi and sell it on eBay.

I didn’t think the SNES minis were that rare. Are they worth more now than they retailed at? Wasn’t it about 80 quid they were priced at?

I went with a Raspberry Pi and emulation. It's stopped me getting the A1200 and A500 out of the loft. I think that solution is much better than this thing. But nice try guys.

Dude you might still need to take them out of the loft, have you heard about the battery leak problem? They all leak eventually and destroy the motherboard, it needs to be removed (see YouTube)

Hard to justify when you can already play everything for free in any browser at internet archive:

I got one for Christmas and it bricked a few weeks ago, just played three 🎶 and kept shutting down. Have been given a refund by Smyth's but only as a gift card. Maybe I'll bite again at this price!
