Is it? Some of these are barely any bigger than “large” eggs that were £2 until today

Potentially an extra £1 cashback on the Aero and Kitkat Biscoff eggs via Shopmium.

Participate in their party promotion and potentially you can get another £2 back it’s on for the next 6 days, 4 cashback requests required.

If you are buying for yourself these are not great value per 100g even with the discount, I'm sure most people would spot that anyway. Full price is just a total ripoff for all of the large and xl eggs. Buying medium (really just smallish eggs) is always better value per 100g.

If you are buying for someone else you are likely to be happy to pay full price or 'discounted' price which is fair enough for a gift. (edited)

Almost £1 per 100g with Shopmium cashback, I'll get one tomorrow.

    Thanks OP!

The 222g Aero Peppermint Egg with 2 Aero Peppermint bars is on offer in Tesco at £2.00 instead of £3.00 and the 230g Aero Peppermint Egg with one bag of Aero Peppermint bubbles is on offer in Tesco at £3.50 instead of £5.00. Does anyone know if there is a big difference in the size of the eggs or what the difference in the two eggs is apart from 8g, one having a bag of Aero Peppermint Bubbles and the other having 2 Aero Peppermint bars?

The size of the chocolate egg between the 2 is fairly negligible TBH. You are probably getting a little extra chocolate in the egg, but your mostly paying for the extra bars.

My gosh, are these classed as XL eggs these days? Shrinkflation at it's finest.

3 years ago these were medium eggs.

Yeah, a lot of Cadburys "large" eggs are under 200g now, 195g mostly, I think the eggs may be the same size they just don't include 2 bars. Large creme eggs only have 1 creme egg in them now. I remember when medium creme eggs were £1 and had 2 creme eggs! Then they went down to 1 creme egg, now large have 1 creme egg I bet they have stopped doing medium creme egg sizes! (edited)

Congratulations on breaking the world record for most mentions of "creme egg/s" in one comment!

Cadbury are the worst for shrinkf/inflation this year.

Best price for this size, unfortunately

These are absolutely scandalous btw. Went last night and picked up a couple of the Mini Eggs ones. Two pathetic bags of Mini Eggs and a thin Easter Egg for £3.50?! The funnier thing is that they should have been £5!!! WTF!?!

Well it’s a lot better than Cadbury’s offerings, but still a poxy amount compared to last year.

The Mars produced ones are literally the exact same as last year, so in an inflationary market of close to 20% on food, this is actually a better deal than last year.

The small eggs are now down to £1 instead of £1.25 do we think they will go to 75p or not?

The £2 ones are better value in the main. I got these plus Cadburys mini eggs 10 pack (385gm) clubcard price £3 (£4) and added extra bags to the £2 eggs to give a good size gift with a surprise extra. 😋😋
Just got to keep them safe until Easter now - hidden them in spare bedroom to try and stop me eating them before gifting (edited)
