sorted byIt can get through my mother-in-law's Meatloaf so I would say yes!
After commenting, I thought "why have I not just contacted customer services about this". Turns out they're actually very helpful, are sorting it for me through warranty, and I was worrying over lack of receipt for nothing.
Me and my mates did that to a Ford Cortina back in the early 80's. Great fun and it looked really cool cruising around town but you had to take it easy, it didn't handle well, with no roof the body lost all its rigidity so it lurched and wobbled, it was like driving a jelly!
In the end we had to weld the doors shut to stop it falling apart.
Should be, as long as the branches aren't excessively thick. I bought my sabre saw specifically for that purpose.
Yes, up to 5 inches or so. And much safer than a chainsaw.
I've always found their support amazing, even though different item types are from different manufacturers. A chair they just asked what spares I thought would fix it, and sent almost a full chair back out! A shower riser they did just replace the lot, none of my tools have broke though.
I got this about 5 years back, it looks knackered and has had a LOT of use but is still going strong. One thing I learnt, don't put too much pressure on when cutting as it has a habit of swinging into your leg still running when you're halfway up a tree and nowhere to jump out of the way
Not sure "convertible" would be the right term, wouldn't "open top" be more accurate? Though maybe with a whole load of duct tape you could convert it back (edited)
Buy another and return the old on it... If it's still under warranty then you ain't doing nothing wrong..
Use the correct sabre blade for branches you can get from toolstation
