Are they any good or ctek better

The quality of the Noco electronics design is far superior to the CTek. Search for Magic Smoke on YouTube if you want to understand the Issues with Cteks. You’ll have to be patient - there are a lot of videos with a lot of tear-downs and repairs, but the descriptions are truely shocking when you consider how much Ctek are revered.
I’ve switched to Noco after 3 Ctek failures (all different failure modes). I’ve stripped all 3 down and found that apparently identical models all have different circuits inside. This suggests a problem in itself.

No. The Lidl one will work fine. Quite frankly most people buying these chargers would be better off just buying a new battery. Give it a go with your lidl charger: if it doesn't bring your battery back to life its unlikely that these smart chargers will do much more. Then you can buy yourself a new battery.

Electronics and materials in particular have gone up globally in the past 12 months. I'm amazed prices are still do low for consumer goods!

Noco build quality it spot on.

Vs Ctek the quality of components is definitely superior, but both decent bits it kit.

Anyone taking about buying a cheap battery charger, don't forget that if you incorrectly charge your battery you can significantly reduce its life or worse done of the cheap chargers have been known to burn themselves out. For something that I might leave on overnight I don't want to take that risk personally

Actually the Lidl chargers seem to be quite highly rated. If there was one near me I'd probably already have bought one to try out.
Instead I've just bought 5 of the Noco Genius1s that I posted on here earlier! (edited)

My brother bought one of these - when it arrived it turns out that they’re made in China now. If I was him it would be going back.
