Appreciate Sony phones aren't for everyone but people moan how they are so expensive compared to anything else but this is a way to get them cheaper IMO atm?

I've selected the cheapest tariff, 3gb, and done over 3 months by using customised plan.

upfront cost £1160
3 months device plan with 3 months airtime plan at 3gb, works out at £13.34 phone plan with £10.00 airtime which you can cancel after 3 months I believe.

I have then traded in a phone with O2 recycle worth MORE than £0. This then unlocks an extra £300 trade in.
You then receive the TV as part of the deal which is going for circa £500 atm.

You can then I think cancel the airtime and pay off the device after 3 months.

Taking all costs into account the total outlay is £1230.02 but then you get £300 back and potential cash from TV sale or a free TV! Takes the device cost to around £500ish if you manage to sell everything and get the cashback.

There is also quidco to consider.
Appreciate outlay for this is high, but there are multiple combinations you could do, depending on whether you want to keep the contract, extend it out, or cancel within a short time frame. Additionally, you don't have to pay all up front for the device as I have done and can play around with that too.

I want to go for this deal but I'm put off by the thermal issues I'm seeing from people. Wish they would lower the price of the Pro-I...

Having recently holidayed in Spain with a Pro-i in very hot weather it kept dropping out of 120Hz mode complaining it was too warm, pretty decent phone though, although I'm less impressed with the camera than I thought I would be until you use it for video where it's excellent.

O2 have a new contract called switch up which means i can upgrade whenever I want to whatever phone just by handing the original phone back in good nick. I’d urge everyone interested to get this deal for the perks and then upgrade to another phone that you actually want later.

Just saw this on O2 site and was thinking it's not bad given it's the latest Sony flagship.

I'm not convinced you have to keep contract going for any length of time (if you don't want to) - TV offer doesn't state line has to be kept active for a minimum amount of time?

If you are just after the phone, I think £300ish is a more realistic cash value of the TV, but still a good deal at around £650ish.

Worth pointing out that it will involve a credit check (see previous postings of similar deals for comments on this lol) but not a deal-breaker for me personally. (edited)

I've got this phone. I ordered it with the headphone preorder promo. It's superb at everything! 4K videos do warm it up though.

I got the 1 iv on the last offer, with £300 gift card and £300 trade in for a £600 overall outlay.
As for the contract, as I get O2 open and o2 is the only company that gives good signal where I am I'd use it anyway. And that was 50GB for £12 a month which I'm ok with.

Imagine how far removed the price and the performance of a phone must be that you get an entire TV with it cold.

Or Sony want to push sales and compete with other leading handsets by including an incentive

Anyne else still waiting on their TV? Got the email confirming they recieved the claim on the 30th Aug but still waiting on IMEI Validation, they're ignoring emails for an update

I took my contact out and claimed the TV on the 19th of August. I waited the 21 days and contacted Sony. They replied saying that there was a delay in the verification and they hope to be in a position to let me know when the TV will be delivered. This was on the 12th of September and not heard back from them since

Same here, and I'm not too happy with Sony, even though there is a limit on TVs available I feel they could just say they've used their limit.

Todays update Sony UK say it's nothing to do with them, O2 say there's nothing at all they can do

Unless someone can get through to customercare or support at xperiarewards co uk there is literally no way to find out what's going on with any IMEI validation
