I miss Nokia. The only company I can say I was a fanboy of. 😔

Aye, I loved their 2017 Androids, but after 2018 the next generations all seemed to get worse each year, at least in terms of build quality, and sometimes features. I forgave a lot because they were quick and frequent with updates, but then they dropped the ball on that too and I jumped ship to Xiaomi.

Having said that, the G21 I bought a month or so ago turned out to be surprisingly good for the £99 it cost on offer (available today on Amazon for the same price - be quick if you want one!), thanks largely to the stock Android experience not slowing things down. That's what's tempting me about this, but with the newer Samsung A34 being only around £50 more if going through an EPP site, that's what I'd go for right now.

Nice that Nokia will provide lots of updates, but on the other hand only 4GB Ram, will be an issue long before the lack of updates. For me, this is a £129 phone. Cold.

If it had 6GB RAM then it'd be great. I've no doubt 4GB will run fine, for now, but will it still in 3 years time? On the fence with this one, but it's a tempting price (would have been more so if the uSD card didn't take up the 2nd SIM space)

Hmmm.. could this be the worthy successor to my Redmi 9? I'm thinking so and considering I'll likely look into upgrading again in 3-4 years anyway it looks good Any opinions?

It's definitely better than the Redmi 9. But it's nothing to write home about

I would buy a Nokia but I find it so difficult to use the android systems.

My partner is after a stock android phone. This or the g45? It's a little more and slower CPU but better ram.
    superleeds27's avatar
    You mean the G42?

Is it good just for basic and daily use? No play game
    superleeds27's avatar
Yeah. Good CPU too for the money really
