    Just got these today...
They feel incredibly cheap which is to be expected from a £10 headset...
That said, sound wise they are decent enough, they are no Anker A2's and they aren't even close to my pixel buds (duh)

But for the price point? I can't find anything to really complain about, these'll do for a great stocking filler gift and a perfect set of spares

    Updated review 5 days later...

They are hands down the worst headset I have ever used, one bud will always disconnect, which will end your call.

They are useless for things like discord as once they disconnect voice comes through the handset and they won't connect unless you rejoin the call, they are god awful uncomfortable and don't sit right in your ears for long periods of use.

If bought as a stocking stuffer these are the equivalent of gifting coal

Can you charge these with a usb and cable?

yes, two choices to charge, via wireless charging pad OR via USB-C (cable included) which charges the earbud case which in turn charges the earbuds 48828401-1MY51.jpg (edited)

10% extra off 1 pair if you subscribe to their emails. Doesn't work on 2 pairs for 17, it cancels the promotion so you're paying like 10p more for 2.

Got a pair of these around a month ago and one of the earbuds has had a horrible crackling sound appear out of the blue. Haven't dropped them and have been careful considering they were cheap. Do still work but the crackling sound is very distracting, can't really reccomend them for this reason. Shame cus they were great upto that point!

For anyone who already has these, is it possible on these to use just the one earbud or is it one of those where sound will only play if you have both in?
    Kai_Kinder's avatar
    Kai_Kinder
It is but two things.... Don't decide you just want to use one bud mid call, it will end your call (this is true for phone calls and things like WhatsApp/discord)

Second, spend a little bit more on a better set

I have a pair of these. They sound absolutely terrible but they are cheap. Perfect for the gym or any activities where you don't want to risk a decent headset.

Bit confused by some of the negative comments about these. I bought these when they were two pairs for £20 (fully expecting one pair to get lost or break) and about 5 months later, the first pair are still going strong. Sound quality is excellent, they connect straight away, they don't fall out of my ears and they hold their charge for hours. If you have problems, both MyMemory and Aukey have excellent after sales in my experience.

Possibly the only issue I've had is with call quality (for the other person, not me). It picks up quite a bit of background noise. However it's better than the EP-T25 Aukeys that I used to use as the call quality was just non existent on them and the other person just couldn't hear you at all. These are fine, especially in a quieter environment. (edited)

Good sound from these, but....... constantly falling out of my ears, maybe I will change the rubber buds and repost.
They have dropped signal a couple of times, but I think it's due to my phone being connected to watch, car and Bluetooth speaker!
Other thing.....but I think this is a general thing with most buds......when I adjust them as I feel they are slipping out, touching them stops or starts them which is a bit annoying.......but for the price worth it.

For not much more than these you can get Anker buds which have none of those problems... For 2-3x the price it's easily worth it imo

I absolutely hate these things and reluctantly only use them because I left my pixel buds at home and can't go and get them for another week

Not sure if these are exactly the same but I'm rocking haylou GT5 since 2 years and they're great all rounders. Can't complain at all!

I did order these anyway. Gt5s are 24 delivered from AliExpress and haylou been banned on Amazon so they don't sell them anymore

I'm only hoping that these aukey ones are exactly same quality as I'm really happy with gt5

For something you expect to use a lot, pay ~£30-£40 when it comes to earbuds. These are incredibly cheap and do a disservice to whatever content you are listening to.

Class pair, wear these for dog walks and also at the gym. Use the smaller rubber bud pieces so can wedge tighter and further into ear and I can’t hear the treadmill and others around me when volume is high at the gym

I have these, sound quality is very poor and I struggle to get them out of the box... Anyhow for the price they are good value as being used in the gym and are viewed by me as disposable if they don't last a couple of months.. Saying that I would not buy another pair.

All I'm saying is, be very cautious around earphones. You will get wax build-up. Your ear canals slope downwards.
