Looks very much like a Chinese made-up brand purifier I got at the beginning of the year (Greenote AP10) - just a bit bigger and with a different control panel and sensors. The air inlet and outlet fins are identical. Suspect this is a widespread generic design with an AEG badge bunged on - I wouldn’t pay this personally.

That said, use code NETWORKDEC20 as well - they stack - and it’s £43.99

Add another 40 pounds and buy a well known brand Philips 800 which is very very good for what it delivers. Don't buy dirt cheap products which doesn't offer value. (edited)

AEG is a well known brand for home appliances. Ranging from washing machines to air purifiers. This is far from a cheap or unknown brand. Plus the clean air delivery rate for this price is very good. In the end of the day, the brand is only a preference based on experience or customer reviews, so every person to themselves! (edited)

For the price, brand, warranty and 14 day free return it seems like a pretty good deal.

Had an email from DPD saying collected and on its way to local hub, thought it would be cancelled. Will update when it arrives
Item arrived via DPD, not had a chance to play with it yet (edited)

Watch out for Coway air purifier to get discounted. £140 to £160, has sensor, hepa etc.

Right here's a question. I am a smoker. Does this do anything to negate the impact of cigarette smoke in a room?

In general, air purifiers will help to eliminate pollution in the air. That means it should be removing things like ‘dust, smoke, pollen, pet hair, etc’ from the air.

Went for the ax9 at 127...

Went for the AX7 £99 same discount percentage as AX3 that is OOS. Looked at AX9 but looked a bit too big and the replacement filters are more expensive but they might last longer so could be a false economy with the AX7.

Anyone had delivery info or cancellation email yet
    badheadday's avatar
Nothing other than the original confirmation email.
  19. ColeJ's avatar
No email but the pending charges on my account have gone so I'm guessing cancelled?
  20. badheadday's avatar
They can cancel if they can't supply them which would suggest no stock.

Surprisingly checked today and the money has come back out so hopefully that's good news. Will wait, no DPD notice as of yet

Finally arrived - bigger than I imagined but seems like a good bit of kit for the price.
