May be quiet and efficient but I guarantee this will be noisy and annoying before too long.

Theyre also a nightmare for gathering dust as well as being an eyesore. Seriously, don't do it

I'd say do it, similar price as some light fittings alone, easy to fit and lying comfortably in bed now when last night, before buying, I had to have a wet towel under me.
There is noise but not much louder than our pedestal, but also the noise is a constant hum, no erratic noise so easier to get used to.
Not the greatest looking thing but for our bedroom I couldn't care less.
If I'm not asleep in there then I definitely looking at something else other than the ceiling

People will write these off as being ugly and an eyesore, but I fitted a similar B&Q black model in my bedroom and it looks smart in line with the colour scheme. It also saved us during the disgustingly hot summer nights we end up with each year for weeks on end! (edited)

Quite agree, we wouldn't be without our celling fans (Fantasia rather than B&Q) in the bedrooms, near silent operation and actually look nice if you pick the right model.

Wait for hot humid weather and it will be a way of getting a foreign holiday experience at a fraction of the normal price....

Got one in the kitchen and last summer I noticed it start to become faulty.
I used my tradepoint card and get the price reduced to £47.70

I got one from B&Q, a modern looking affair. The first one rattled horribly on day 1. Got a replacement same day, it rattles as well. Starts rattling for 10-60 seconds, stop for a few minutes, repeat indefinitely. I've had the case off and can't see anything that could be causing it.

Just installed the OP model this evening, started rattling a little and it has a little wire in externally that was the cause, I reshaped so no room for movement and fine now.
