I don't think I can pull this off with the missus by saying that I needed to use the Amazon £5 off £15 spend

For anyone wondering about the difference between the J and the K variants:

No that review is in-accurate. They did not set up the A80K correctly.

The A80K has a slightly better picture quality and is slightly brighter than the A80J for models 55” and 65” respectively. (edited)

Anybody know if I will get another 10 movie vouchers through bravia core on this, if I use the same login details? Or would I need to sign up for a new account

I was tempted by this but peak brightness seems pretty poor, my 8 year old Panasonic can go to 450 nits and the peak brightness in HDR on this oled was less than that
    AJ10's avatar
    AJ10 Author
This has a peak brightness around 640 nits. Your plasma is dimmer.

@Rod_SmithmPK I have just bought this. Could you PM me your address. If I get kicked out im moving in with you. I will bring the a80j and a90j with me and we can spend the rest of eternity comparing them.

    £600, couldn't resist (edited)

Well done! It's such a bargain. If I could find space for it. I would have bought one too. The android user interface is the easiest to live with. Great TV (edited)

The brightness isn’t great on this tv. I have the 65 model

The low brightness is why I went with the C2. On SDR normal programming, it’s VERY hard to see in a bright room. TBh even with the C2 it’s not great (but much better). This is the one drawback of OLED.

If you’re only watching HDR, I’m sure it’s great.

Mine was supposed to be delivered yesterday, stayed in all day, was tracking the driver, he was in another area code and it was marked as "handed directly to neighbour".. class act theived my TV, fuming to say the least .

Spoke to a bot @ customer support chat, they've given me until teusday before they can escalate my issue further, looks like I won't be getting another one as they are all sold out.

I'm jumping in on this as well at this price with the 2-warranty.

Can someone please let me know how the extended warranty through Centres Direct, do you need to purchase this within a certain timeframe of purchasing the TV? Or can you wait until near the end of the Amazon warranty and then get the extended from Centres Direct? Thanks

Just phones Sony Centres Carlisle and they confirmed you can not buy a TV elsewhere and come to them for just a warranty purchase. Their warranties are for TVs purchased from them only

Incredible price. The warranty is a bit of a worry. Don’t think 2 yrs is enough. I’ve had a couple of sets crap out on me before the 5 yrs (one Sony, one Samsung).
