Thank you for posting, been looking for a reasonably decent set of noise cancelling headphones for work and travel and the Sony ones are beyond my budget.

I've just had to return a refurbed pair of these - awaiting a replacement.

    A few things:

They are quite tight (me = adult, medium head) and the cup isn't generous around the ear. So they fatigue quicker than my qc-45 (i know comparing apples and pears - but gives an idea).

Sound is good wired and not wired. Easy to use. Feel of quality. Good battery life. Decent accessories (better cables than Bose delivered with the 45s).

The refurb will be like new and boxed (looking at you centres direct).

I returned mine as the ANC was problematic - a lot of distortion on the left ear which made for a poor quality listening experience. That said, I hope they replace with a good pair as I really like them! (edited)

Yea, clamp strength may be a bit tight out the box. I found the same with my Sony XM3s. It helped to loosen them up by putting them over a good few books when not in use so as to gently stretch out the headband. (edited)

Hi, I'm looking at buying these. When I click on the link it goes to site but defaults to ship to Germany.

When I change to UK it takes me to a different site which doesn't have these refurbs. Can anyone help with the link please?

Weird. When I put my address in it, it changed to UK sterling, taxes included and free shipping. Try in incognito mode?

I love mine, BUT I needed to buy these as the standard ear pads where extremely tight on my head.

I could now easily wear these all day.

You're welcome. Was tempted to buy myself but can't justify it as I own the XM3s

My 4.50bt (previous gen) are the best headphones I've ever had. My pair will be coming up to 4 years old in August and wear them day in day out, only replaced the ear muffs. Extreme heat.

Ordered my first sennheiser through this so fingers crossed it doesn't disappoint.
My last one were Huawei big ones last year so as long as similar to them I'm happy

Great headphones but I personally find them uncomfortable to wear for anymore than about 30mins.

I take it its the headband making it uncomfortable, I have the previous gen (4.50bt) and had the same issue, I perciviered and they bedded themselves in, they are best headphones I've ever owned coming up to 4 years in August and only replaced ear muffs, wear them day in day out.

Can someone comment on calls quality on those? Looking for something to use mostly for teams calls but occasionally to use on a plane.

They are rubbish as hell. Bought them on student discount like 10 months ago for £49.50 and still returned them. Sound quality is horrible, ANC is a joke. Not even worth £50.

Silly Beats Flex are 10x much better than these crap

    Are you OK?
Beats Flex are earphones so not sure if you're confusing these with some other product?

From soundguys.com review (reviewed at $199):
"The Sennheiser HD 450BT is a very good pair of headphones for the price, noise cancelling is good and sound quality is great—quite rare at this price point."

I have these. Good for listening to music. Unfortunately, not very good for calls esp. when not in a quiet room. The mic picks up external sounds and the sidetone can be atrocious!

This is a problem with most headsets in a noisy environment. I recently bought an Epos 165T which is a typical call center unit and therefore has good noise suppression around the microphone. I have got excellent feedback from those who have to listen to me. It wasn't too expensive, around £25 for the wired one off eBay. They also make wireless versions.

Mine arrived today and they are comfortable for me, but the noise cancelling is virtually non-existent, it barely muffles anything with noise cancelling turned on - do I have a faulty set? I have a cheap set of honor earpods that block out quite a lot of background noise and was expecting the sennheisers to be better than the honor ones

Recieved mine yesterday. Look brand new. Very good quality build.
ANC is not the best compared to both Bose and Sony that I own but you can say it's good enough I guess.
