Super prices here at the moment with the mentioned code.
It was a bit of an off chance price check to see if these had dropped again, which they had and then tried a few codes and found that I could get the price down even lower than before.

Below are the price before and after the code. Just keep in mind that the before prices are actually very good and not the RRPs, but the offer prices from the backend of last year - See here

I've had a super king one of these since summer 2020, purchased from a similar deal posted on here, and it's definitely delivered some of the best sleep I've ever had, and is still in excellent shape.

In fact, it has helped me regress to being a teenager at weekends, with epic 10-11 hour sleeps on nights when I don't have work the next day.

As some of the other commenters mention, the mattress can get a bit toasty in the summer months. I use a thick wool mattress topper and that seems to reduce the effect significantly. No issues in the colder months. (edited)

Will these foam mattresses sag over time from shape retention? (edited)
    uomosenzanome's avatar
Im 6ft 6, 120+kg. Had the remfit ortho 500 for 3 years best mattress I ever had, no sag. I rotate 180 every 4 months.

My current mattress (non foam) has been ruined by sitting up in bed watching TV. Anyone know if these would cope? Was meaning to do some research and figure out what places like premier Inn use, since those must take a beating. (edited)

After dealing with rem-fit before I really hope people don't have trouble with their purchase. Had a problem with the cover upon delivery. Phoned in and someone gave me a number to a warehouse (must have been new) Complained to the warehouse and was told (by quite an angry guy) that all the mattresses are imported or such like and its in rem-fits contract to be the front end and deal with returns/problems.

As far as I can tell, mattresses get imported from wherever to a second party, second party then deals with rem-fit, and rem-fit just put their covers on and calls it a day.

I told this experience on trust-pilot, rem-fit bent over backwards to try and get my comments removed.

All-in all a really bad customer experience, they should have just sent me a new cover lol. (edited)

Mine arrived. Left it for about 20 hrs. I currently have. A king size Emma original which has no springs. I had a really good sleep last night and would say it's a little for form than the Emma I did find the Emma too soft. Need a couple more sleeps and will give an update on here. No complaints at present
    phatbhoy's avatar
Totally agree - I have slept 2 nights on it and been impressed. We also have an Emma and I prefer this one as it is firmer.

Time will tell whether it lasts - but the initial impression is pretty good

I have a rem fit mattress and have to say it’s really disappointing. If there are two of you in bed, you both inevitably fall down the middle. Gets pretty hot at night, so if you have night sweats, avoid like plague. Most bedroom related antics are uncomfortable… the feeling of sinking is terrible. If you like to sit up in bed and work on a laptop or read a book, be prepared for your a to sink. Memory foam mattresses are a nonsensical fad. My opinion - sorry if it offends anyone.

have to agree fully, I've now invested in a double-sided traditional pocket spring mattress with wool / cotton filling........more expensive yes, and yes I have to "flip it" once a week for 3 months for it to "settle".....but longevity / non-sagging wise it is awesome. Tried EVERY mattress in a box (usually on HUKD deals)....all returned within trial period or as faulty due to sagging excessively (6ft, 98kg lump).

Looking for a decent hybrid mattress under £500 - so far I've seen the Dusk 2000 spring hybrid, this one and the brooke and wilde Lux (60% off currently).. any thoughts?
    MustStopBuyingGadgets's avatar
Got the B&W Elite Medium firmness, had it since mid 2020 (I know it was then as it was just after lockdown started and they only delivered to the door...so had to shift a 40kg+ box upstairs by myself 🥵) and very happy with it. The wife described it as like "sleeping in clotted cream" lol. Its cosseting but still supportive. No turn and no rotating required. Its comfortably warm in Summer, bit hotter than conventional mattress but not sweaty hot. Be warned its quite deep though so need the 35cm deep fitted sheets and mattress protector rather than the more standard 25/28cm ones.

So pleased with it that we've just bought the Luxe for the guest room on that 60% deal. Not quite as deep but stepdaughter slept on recently and says its really comfortable (and she didn't want to get up). Took around 3 weeks for delivery. I would definitely recommend B&W mattresses. (edited)

Looks like a good deal. How's everyone disposing of their old mattress? I notice that delivery + collection of old is £50 through this company.
    doesitmatter's avatar
Most councils take it for some fees. On collection day , leave it outside.

I can’t seem to get a king to come up at 231.66 even after the code? I get 244.53. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Try TD8 gets its to £236.81 - can't seem to see a code now to get it the £231.66 price

I want to order one, but it's to go into an attic bedroom, so I wanted to ask, does it come rolled up, it will not fit if it's flat?
    harmageddon's avatar
yep rolled up on delivery, but I don't think it will roll up if you need to return it or remove it from your loft at any point. Best check if that could be an issue.

I bought the rem-fit-600-lux-hybrid-mattress on a Cyber Monday deal and it has been great. I was very skeptical about a hybrid mattress I am 24 stone so was really worried I would just sink into it.

Its the best sleep I have ever had. Obviously its a different mattress to this one but to comment on the process was great it was delivered rolled it is fairly heavy but not to bad to move ( don't open until its on the bed). I researched extensively what the catch is on the 100 night trial as I fully expected to return it. They actually use British heart foundation to collect them in most instances who steam clean the cover and sell in their charity shops. The only catch is you have to be in to receive it. They will suggest on of there other matresses but dont take the offer as you dont get a trial on the second one

Seeing this on the page now, so i guess they sold out and are awaiting new stock from China.

Mine is supposed to arrive today, and they have marked it as dispatched, however the Tuffnells tracking code is still not being recognised.

So I have done a little basic research and have been to the cart twice however I have concluded not to get this mattress.

I agree their mattresses are good however this particular model is only 1000 spring pockets whereas the more expensive models (expensive for a reason) have around 4000 springs. Now compare this to the likes of Simba, I would consider either saving more and/or investing in more springs as it will be better for your back.

If simply, you need a good mattress with no back pain, then it is not a bad deal. Heat given either way but I will wait for another model like last time (Simba refurbished on eBay)
    Cheikthisout's avatar
Just be wary that pocket spring count isn't everything and seems to be a bit of a marketing gimmick. Just recently forked out on a mattress so been through the hassle, and it seems a lot just layer springs on top of springs just to make it a high count with no real added benefit. Pretty sure it's more a case of looking for quality of springs and materials over just sheer quantity.

I bought one of these Rem-Fit mattresses last year when I moved into my new house, very comfortable and keeps it's shape well.

EDIT: Just checked and it was actually a Rem-Fit 1000 I had bought, a kingsize one via a deal on here last year, paid £257.40 and thought it was a great price, so this is even better. (edited)

I'd much prefer a mattress made from natural materials than plastic foam. They'll cost more, but should last forever. And are properly breathable.

I had a email from Tuffnells at 4am on day of delivery to state it will be delivered that day between 8am-6pm, there was a tracking number in the email which was not the order number. After delivery the same link showed proof of delivery, but there was no time slot or additional tracking, but the free delivery option did state this.
    djreadie's avatar
Had email to say it would be delivered today. Stayed in the whole day. No delivery, no note, no knock on the door nothing. Yet now they have updated the delivery status to 'Delivered'. What on earth?
