Dell has been the only brand to do decent deals recently, this isn't one of them, but It's not worth shelling out for monitors that you're only going to use for work or watching videos.

hotukdeals.com/sha…948 Thus was a good one from a month back, you want something like this: your preferred resolution, 144hz min if you're gaming, little back light bleed, good contrast is a must so colors don't look washed out and low response time.

For a basic work/video monitor you don't really care about refresh rate, you just want decent contrast and maybe a better color profile so an IPS display.

I got the 24 inch version last month. Good monitor. I was previously using 2 AOC 20 inch monitors

I wonder if you can stay the standard Dell height adjustable stand to this. There's the square cutout on the back which seems to be covered by a plastic cover...
    ThatGuyy's avatar
Yeah, you can do that. The square on the back is a standard Vesa mount so you could get lots of different stands/monitor arms that would fit

    is this screen glossy or?

Bought this recently for same price and it is very good. Yes, QHD is nicer at 27" but 1080p is perfectly good. No pixelation. Screen is matte

Doesn't seem to say whether it has speakers built in?
    wakaru's avatar
Likely because it does not have them.

I use dell all the time but beware. this is ooooooooold stock at 1080p on a 27" screen, FHD just isn't good enough for anything that is pictorial/moving

Really? Playing games and watching films on my 1080p 27 incher just fine. All looks good to me.

I have these and they cannot be used with any other dell monitor stand..
