They call it as a gaming monitor, but we all know that this isn't the main selling point.
I think, the value still nice here with that IPS panel at 27" size. AMD FreeSync™ is a plus.

This Full HDIPS display gives you a lot of detail with amazing colours and wide viewing angles - great for both spreadsheets and Netflix shows. The 75 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSyncPremium make this monitor great for some after-work gaming, too. You can expect smooth gameplay without screen tearing or stuttering.

Good to know

Depends what you plan on using it for.
The curry’s one will be better quality being an IPS panel compared to the Amazon VA but curry’s one is only 75hz which isn’t great for fast paced games like COD etc
Then you’ll have the argument that 27” needs to be 4k, not 1080p.
Really depends what exactly you’ll be using it for (edited)

It is sold as a gaming monitor as that is what it is best suited as. 1080p at 27” is a terrible resolution for working on, but is fine for most games.

Thanks for posting this. Does this have the equivalent of the TUV-certified blue light filter that I've seen on some other monitors?

This has Visual Comfort which I believe is the same thing. I have a ASUS TUF monitor with blue light filter, I use blue light filter at night in a dark room - really does help with eye strain esp on an IPS monitor

1080p for a 27" monitor makes it less entising

Decent for triple screen gaming (sim racing in my case) without needing a crazy graphics card

How does this compare to the same spec Lenovo for £10 less from Amazon?
This has 1ms Response, the Lenovo has 4ms (edited)

If you are talking about this amazon.co.uk/Len…7SR

That is a VA panel vs IPS.
IPS has better viewing angel and many would prefer that over VA.

Just bought this, thank you. Was looking for a sub-£100 used monitor and there wasn't much choice by the time delivery was added.

Is this good enough for plugging into a MacBook Pro, or do I want something with a higher resolution really?
