These aren't bad for the price. The clips on them do feel a bit fragile though. I'd personally go with the RCD ones. (edited)

    Any link?

Do I need to get an electrician to install these to replace an existing external socket (cover has fallen off) or is it a simple swap?

If you are asking then you probably need an electrician.

Have two these. Very easy to use and install. Has a power indicator light on each socket. I have attached an RCD safety plug at the end line for extra safety. Modern industrial design. Recommend.

Was going to comment on adding an RCD to the end point, either a plug or inline but worthy addition if you are installing these. I have these, the Wi-Fi ones and one with built in RCD.

I also have a couple of these. Just buy! - they are excellent value for money and work well outside - no issues. Recommended.

Better spending a few £ more and get the RCD ones.

Ordered two to replace the ten-year-old ones whose lid hinges have disintegrated.

Very useful. I have made one into an extension cable, which I hang on the wall for washing car etc.

Would it be any good for an outdoor hot tub?
