Yeah, if this had been multi-gear, would be all over this. Anyone any recommendations on anything like this without too crazy a price increase?

It's a crap hotch-potch of a bike with a motor and a battery which are both in the wrong places.

Rim calliper on rear brakes disc on front, if anything shouldn't it be the other way round?
(Or ideally the same on both). Discs are more efficient which means if you apply the same force to both, (especially if it's hard in an emergency) the bike will tend to pivot back end up.
I'm not an expert I'm just asking if it's an issue...

That Schiano Emoon is £699 or £750.

Unlike this you get a large battery. A single speed ebike is only for the flat.
And small batteries are more fragile and for short trips or occasional help.
