    Pricing error. If ordered Online it will just be cancelled & not substituted.

    Don't waste your time. Sainsbury's never honour these glitch prices. So much so that they don't even send a cancellation mail. And when you go to collect, the grocery van says sorry your order ain't in the list and that means it's cancelled.

    This needs to expire, plenty got sucked into ordering yesterday and got Cancellation email. If you didn't cancel, Sainsburys will charge you full wack at £16.

    Now , I just bought 6 pack of this for £20.

    I'm sorry to break it to you but you see the bandwagon set off yesterday, unfortunately it got pull over and the wagon was replaced with an identical one which costs 4 times as much.

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed for anyone who ordered yesterday but I doubt any will get through today.

    Laila doesn't seem cook very well , others still like it, doesn't go as big as the likes of Himalayan rice or the kohinoor, I'd try and get them abit more but at the moment it's in Tesco for 14 for 10kg . The gold bags of Laila seem be a better rice think they are around 14.50 at Morrison's for 10kg.

    Love rice, perfected white rice years ago, anyone know how the hell i cook brown rice? Prefer brown and need it with my health but cant cook it

    The same way possiby longer soaking, slower lower heat as supermarket brown tends to be more al dente when trying to cook like white rice from previous experience.

    Just received my order receipt(collection at 4pm) which shows the rice bags charged at full price at £9 reach instead of £4. My order only had 4 bags and the rest were other groceries...

    CS are not budging on honouring and asked me to cancel if I don't want to pay full price... Total waste of time... (edited)

    A bit of a result!!!

    Went in to collect anyway, the Click & Collect chap was really nice... When explained about the higher price being charged, he went in and spoke to the manager and refunded half of the bags.

    No email like I did for the 10kg but I received a call this morning saying it was out of stock for collection and delivery. No mention of pricing error in the call. Most likely it is but you might be lucky.

    I had two orders cancelled without a phone call, an email was sent which hadn't been seen by me , went to store on both ocassions only to be told when i got there that they'd been cancelled, checked emails and sure enough that was the case, called customer service to complain and they said I'd recieve a £10 evoucher to use online, at first he was adamant it would be one £5 voucher, asked to speak to a manager and he upped it to £10 without doing so.

    Any idea how Substitution Promise works? Do we need to request the price difference? I got a couple 5kg bags after I amended my order and replaced 10kg ones with 5kg. However, I have been charged £9 for each 5kg bag as substitute. I believe substitute is when it's replaced with any other product. Here, they are giving us the same product but at a higher price, does that count as substitute? I believe I should get a refund for the price difference and not the evouchers which we have to use only for online orders within 2 months, meaning go through the same hassle again by spending another £35 to use £5 voucher for delivery!
