Still not something I’d want to eat 4/5 times a week!
It's nothing to do with budget rice is the carb portion of the meal instead of potatoes or pasta.
Why on earth would you eat rice 4 to 5 times a week? Even on a very restricted budget, there’s other food available.
Cue the posts of people telling us all how they cook rice on a stove....
I got this recently and used it 3 times now. The coating is still good as new, just follow instructions not to wash the rice in the pot as it is abrasive. As soon as the rice is cooked turn off the socket and leave the rice it does not need to keep warm otherwise it will leave a crusty bottom and will not be good for the coating.
