They also had the Einhell Belt sander for £19.99 - picked one up today. Excellent deal

I've just picked up one in the Swindon store & tbh I wasn't expecting much due to the price & the fact that I've got a Stanley fatmax drill & impact wrench & although they work well the general quality & plastics feel very cheap but this sander feels solid, it's good quality & has some weight behind it, cheers op!

Thanks OP for posting. I bought one today for 19.99 from the farmfoods in Bolton. They had a few tools - drills and a few different hand tools. I think this sander was the best deal.

Is this like everything else in Farmfoods where it's cheaper because it's 2/3 the size?

I can't imagine Stanley making a 2/3rds size version of this especially for Farmfoods (edited)

Sadly, no way of checking which store has stock that I know of. I suppose you could ring the storesd local to you and ask?

    any good for sanding decking?

It will be FAR too slow.

    In my experience:
A: 1/3rd sheet sanders are very poor. I haven't used mine since getting a random orbital sander.
B: If you must have just one sander, a random orbital is the way to go. Good at removing material and can get a good finish, but more expensive.
C: Belt sanders are good for removing lots of material quickly. If I were doing decking, I would use my belt sander.

I remain grateful to whoever recommended random orbital sanders on this site a few years ago.
