I really wanted to like this game. It’s just too big for me as a casual gamer. There’s too much to do and too much faffing around. I wish it had a simple easy setting for us people short on time.

I loved it. 41, 2 kids, casual gamer. Switch was the first console I’d owned since the original release of the PS1. When I eventually bit, spent a good year and a half with it (a 2 month break for Metroid Dread). I’m at something like 99.8% complete-one trial left which I just can’t manage.

However, I get peoples frustrations. For me, what made it appealing was the fact I could make it as challenging or chilled as I wanted. There’d be some evenings I’d wander round raiding camps to build up my weapons, or hunting/harvesting/cooking food. I do have all 900 Koroks (with some online help of course!)-I found it a good ‘casual’ game in as much as, I didn’t feel there was ever a sense of urgency with it, so I suppose that reflected in my attitude towards the game. Think I’ve spent something like 380-ish hours on it. (edited)

Not sure why this is so hot. I know free is free but it’s a basically a glorified instruction booklet and opening walkthrough, something they should’ve probably given everyone access to when they’d bought the basic game. Gone are the days of instruction booklets of course.

I’d be disappointed if I paid extra for a special edition to get this. The game pretty much tells you everything as you go along too.

I think it’s probably because people thought it was the full strategy guide (which would be entirely plausible this long after the first game’s release). I certainly did until I downloaded it.

I got to the last boss but couldn't ever be bothered to finish it. Not the best Zelda game (A Link to the Past), never mind best ever game. In my humble opinion of course.

finished this game 3 times - and still find new things to re-do or pay more attention to...the disappointment of the reward of finding the 1000 korok seeds....is a consistent disappoinment....

I haven’t managed to collect them all. A 1000 seeds!!!!!! I don’t realise that! Blimey!! dam!
What’s the prize? Pm me If you can love to know don’t want to spoil it for others.

Thought it was too good to be true. Nintendo don't give free games like xbox and playstation do (edited)

Was enjoying playing this again with my son but that ended when my wife walked in and saw him casually felling a deer with an arrow and collecting the meat.

Surely that must have filled her with pride and joy about her boys no?
