S, M & L in stock.

Terrific value for money. Shimano gears.

10.9kg weight.

The only thing I would say is if you live in an area full of very steep hills you may struggle due to the range of gears otherwise will be a perfect commuter bike.

27.5" tyres are very cheap to replace.

Unrelated to this deal but: there's a bicycle distributor whose gone into administration and they're auctioning off 35000 brand new bikes currently cyclingweekly.com/new…tor maybe a bargain to be had for someone....

"Buyers should note that there is a 25% buyers premium to pay, as well as 20% VAT, so some items might not be as cheap as they seem, and there is a £45 delivery charge, plus VAT, should you not wish to pick it up."

Probably a better deal than the Decathlon Riverside 120 that was also posted today, with a couple of caveats:
-This has a more aggressive riding position, which some will prefer. Others like to be more upright.
-Cheap mechanical disc brakes can be fiddly.

If I was looking for a cheap commuter bike, and had the extra £68 to spare, I'd go for this one. It's almost 4kg(!!) lighter than the Decathlon one as well.

edit: Worth reading the reviews at the bottom of the page. Complaints about the brakes, the weight being heavier than listed, and the sizing being unusual (I have a "large" Vitus bike and can confirm it feels more like a medium.) Not criticising the deal, corner-cutting is an inevitability at this price. (edited)

Wiggle/Chain Reaction are notorious for stretching the truth when it comes to the specs for their Vitus bikes. Often much heavier than the stated claim

Almost bought this for spare parts, but the 650B size wheels are a deal breaker for me. Otherwise this is a bargain, even if the brakes need replacing.

The shifter and brakes aren't integrated so easy to change to hydraulics. I don't mind 27.5 tyres but definitely prefer 700/29 as I am more comfortable on large bikes. It looks pretty good!

This is really tempting, was looking at a Carrera Parva but this seems better.

This is the type of bike that is ideal for most people, a do anything type bike for general use. I checked and the Sunrace M63 is actually a cassette not a freewheel so the supplied 7 speed cassette could be replaced with a wider range cassette like 11 to 34T and you can also find wider still on occasion like 11 to 36T. Having a 1x system means easy up/down gear changes which is great for urban situations where you don't want to think about the gears just concentrate on riding.

The steel forks would be ideal for a front hub motor conversion if you wanted to change this to an ebike. 27.5" wheels are very strong typically although not quite as strong as 26" wheels of the same spec.

This is very much like the Carrera Subway at Halfords and a very good alternative at a lower price than the entry level Subway with mechanical disc brakes. The downgrade here is a 7 speed cassette rather than 8 speed which does limit your choice of cassettes a lot. You'll need to be careful about sizing as there is very little height adjustment on the handlebars with a threadless system. If you get it wrong you might need an extension fitted or variable angle stem or change the handlebar style.
