    I can't recommend - I switched on the one I bought and all it did was come up with error codes

    Any better than the Bluetooth OBD2 readers or around the same? I guess future updates might be tricker... (edited)

    Better in the sense that it will work without needing anything else, just plug in and go. Could argue more reliable also.
    Could be good for a backup. I have a cheap bluetooth one too. It works but can be a faff setting up with the phone and app sometimes etc.

    My experience with this has not been positive.

    Failed to connect and in the end the whole text on the screen was back to front and upside down!

    Seller wasnt helpful!

    Avoid.
