    For those worried about the 1 year warranty, I had the same thought when I was looking at this back around November.

    Ended up price matching with richer sounds who match including vouchers and got their full warranty. Worth trying if the 1 year from LG is what's stopping you.

    Problem with richer sounds is their warranty is scaleable over the 6 years for tv's, you lose a significant chuck of what the tv is worth every year. Its +10% every year. (edited)

    On a side note how can a 1 year warranty on a expensive tv like this be legal in the UK? Surely its reasonable for a tv to be expected to work longer than this?

    Statutory rights in the UK give you up to a 6 year guarantee. Most retailers should honour this even if its a repair or a partial refund for how many years out of the 6 you have used it. I wouldn't let a product not having an official 5 year warranty put you off buying as the law is on your side, just a little more effort if things go wrong than it officially stating a 5 year guarantee.

    Worth noting that you get an extra 2% off too if you’re an existing LG member with an account. Mine came to £1332.78, plus I also got 3% cashback through my workplace discount scheme. In the end mine should hopefully come to around £1299.60.
