sorted byOnly criticism I would make is that the mesh router they supply isn't amazing. I get about half speed if I use Wi-Fi one room away. But that could be because of congestion in the number of devices that connect to my Wi-Fi.
Also the router only has one ethernet port free to use for other devices which if you have a phone line would be taken up by that. You will want to connect your devices directly if you want to get the full 500 speed so you need to get a switch hub. Which are usually less than £15 on Amazon. (edited)
Internet dropping out on the day of the installation, net day dropping out again even on the hard wired xbox, and giving me 3% of the expected speeds, but getting 400mbs over wifi.
Rang them up, he told me to install the linksys app, and send me screenshots of the speed tests. App couldnt even find my router, even though i was connected to their router, and then the phone cut out.
Rang them again, turns out i have low power somewhere which is why i am not getting the speeds i am getting and why it is dropping out. and they will need to send an engineer around again to figure it out, next appointment is next week,
So pretty dodgy first week i guess. good thing virgin are still up and running i guess
Not a great start, oh and the topcashback i am not getting either as i wasnt logged in when i did the purchase, contacted them both times they said they can see it. but not got high hopes for that. (edited)
And the msg about moving to London 100% out of the question
If it's in your area, go for it and never look back!
