I've had these W leg beds before - they're good for kids and young teens (i.e. before they've started to grow much), but they're not really wide or long enough for anything larger than a small-medium adult to get comfortable on, and the more weight you put on them the narrower they get! A good airbed will be better but this beats camping mats or just lying on the ground.

You can get camp beds with X shaped legs and they tend to be both wider, longer and sturdier. I've slept comfortably on those and would say they're better than an airbed, provided you only need single not double. Even better though are the old-skool U camp beds that fold in half and have a proper (but thin) mattress and sprung base - but those are both heavier and more unwieldly so better suited for a spare room rather than actual camping.

So in order of worst to best, here's my personal experience:
    * The ground, with just the tent groundsheet and a sleeping bag - cold, uneven and you'll feel every stone
    * Foam camping mat - still uneven but a bit warmer and less likely to feel any stones
    * W leg camp beds like this - fine if you fit comfortably on them but a bit easy to tip over and not especially wide. Best for side sleepers.
    * Air bed - comfy and available in doubles but tend to need regular pumping up
    * X leg camp beds - higher off the floor than the alternatives above, and tends to be longer and wider than W leg beds. Comfortable for most sleeping positions but a bit heavy and bulky to lug around. Fine in the boot of a car, not so much on a bike of any kind.
    * U shaped folding beds - the most comfortable of all, but really too big and heavy to take camping so best suited for spare rooms, etc. (edited)

Thought about buying these a few times but every time I'm put off by length, 180cm which is about 5'10". I'm 6'1" so think my feet would hang off the end.

Anyone taller than 5'10" tried one?

I'm 5,9, these are better than inflatable mattresses because you can store things underneath it!

Great for kids not so much for adults. Good price either way.
