4160827_1.jpgLiving room

7.1 sqm living area (with a 3rd pitched bedroom) with an inner tent height of 2.10 m.
This tent includes several accessories:
- A foldaway basin-shape zipped groundsheet at the entrance in case of rain
- Two transparent shuttered windows
- Shuttered mosquito net window
- Storage pockets in the bedrooms and living room

The tent can be used with three bedrooms or with just two to create a big living area.

Sleeping width

Each bedroom in this tent is intended to accommodate a maximum of two 70 cm wide mattresses. The partition between the 2 bedrooms is removable.

Pitching and dismantling

Inflatable all-in-one structure with pre-assembled bedrooms and flysheet.
Using our Quechua Ultim Comfort pump with built-in pressure gauge, we recommend that you inflate the tubes to 7 PSI of pressure.
To view this pump, copy the reference 8601387 and paste it into the search engine of our website.
To make it easier, we recommend that 2 people pitch the tent, although 1 person can manage.

Fresh&Black technology for more coolness and darkness in your tent

Cooler and darker for better sleep!
Fresh & Black is a technology patented by Decathlon that allows us to reflect the sun's rays and insulate from the light thanks to specific materials.
This reduces the sensation of heat in the tent and makes it darker.
To get the most out of this technology, don't forget to ventilate your tent at night!

Sun protection

Our Fresh&Black technology relies on a UPF 50+ sun protection fabric.
Caution: be careful, a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.

Ventilation

The ventilated flysheet on the living room enables air to circulate and reduces condensation inside your tent. There is an upper air vent outside the two rear bedrooms. Inside, there is a lower air vent. The last bedroom is ideally positioned for air flow. The bedrooms have mosquito nets at the top of the doors and at the base. The living area has two mosquito nets, one at the top of the door and the other on the wall.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The goal is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 7, measured at 60 km/h.

Feel free to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (7 Psi).

Waterproofing

We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory under 200 litres per hour per sqm of water for 3 hours, which is equivalent to a tropical shower of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2000 mm. It also has seams taped using heat-sealed strips and a 190 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.

Repair

As designers and users who love nature, we care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.

Poles and tent pegs

Inflatable poles - All our inflatable poles have a two-layer arch structure: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) air chamber and a 600-denier polyester cover*.
Living room reinforcement - There's an aluminium bar in the living room to stiffen the structure.
Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
4 ground pegs are included.

*600 denier indicates a weight of 600 g for 9 m length.

CARE ADVICE

Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum durability of your tent, it's important to store it when not in use.

Think it may be national, I saw them in Barnsley Tesco last night

I assumed as a Clubcard price deal they would be. But a mod has edited it to be local in store.

Just unpacked the tent and discovered they come with spare parts too. Was not aware of that :-)

For £499 I'd want it to come with a butler!

Got one at Tesco Extra Leyland today so it does appear to be national. They only had one there before anyone wastes a journey.

Let me know if yours came with a couple of spare poles and a stretchy cable?

Expensive, but worth it if you can get one (or the smaller fresh and black ones). We do a lot of family camping and the darkness and coolness has been a holiday changer! So much more comfortable.... (Or just get the one manner and stick the fam in the existing hot room lol)
