Taking beverages on-the-go is an important part of a busy lifestyle, but it can be frustrating when a travel mug leaks, leaving a stain on a favorite shirt or blouse. The SNAPSEAL™ Travel Mug gives confidence that stains won’t slow down the day. With a quick snap of the lid, the mug seals for 100% leak-proof performance. The Contigo SNAPSEAL™ Travel Mug is designed for an easy, one-handed drinking experience. Pop the top to drink (there’s no lid to unscrew or remove) and then snap it closed after sipping to seal the leak-proof lid. Tea or coffee stays hot for up to 6 hours or cold for up to 12 thanks to THERMALOCK™ vacuum insulation. This mug is designed to fit in most car cupholders and features a stylish grip to easily grab and go. This stainless-steel travel mug has a top rack dishwasher-safe lid and the body is hand-wash only.
our Contigo might just be a minor detail in your day, but when you put it all together, it can be the difference between good and great. Water that’s sipped, not spilled. Bottles that are reusable, not disposable. And mugs that will last, not leak. It all began with an idea to eliminate spills with a coffee mug designed to seal between sips. From there, we engineered a patented technologies, such as AutoSeal™ to deliver on that ground-breaking idea. Each product development is based on an intimate understanding of consumer needs. Our products go through rigorous testing to confirm performance and quality assurance tests to make sure they meet the highest standards.
Powered by SNAPSEAL™ Technology that provides on-the-go leak-proof confidence (in closed position)

These are very good. Keep drinks hot for hours. Be careful of the flip lid. It can soon catch in your bag covering your clothes in coffee!

Not too bad but if you want something that will actually keep your drink hot for a longer period of time go to ikea. There is a flask, I wanna say its called undersoka summit like that, its stainless steel with a blue lid, holds a Costa large latte with 2 extra shots and if you fill it at 6.30am it will still be a drinkable warm at 5pm. As someone with a gastric bypass I need to keep my drinks warm for longer and that ikea flask actually is more worth it than my Ember mug and travel mug. I'd absolutely rate the ikea flask. For a tenner its a steal!

I drive for a living and like to make myself a coffee at work before I leave in the morning. I have two of these, and a thermos one also. I've mostly stopped using the contigo in the morning as it literally keeps my coffee too hot for too long .

I use my thermos one, as I can comfortably drink from the cup within about 30 minutes, it's cooled down so much (clearly inferior quality, as thermos seem to be these days). And the contigo, when I use it, I can throw in my bag at around 9.30, and be still hot enough to be a decent hot brew by around 1pm without scalding me. And it's leak free.

Definitely hot from me. In more ways than one (edited)

one trick for the contigo one is putting a small ice cube inside your hot drink 😁I do this every time I get a tea from pret/sbucks etc as they are mostly undrinkably hot 😁

I've tried lots of different travel mugs, including Thermos, these are easily the best 👌
    Great price.

Unless they've changed design, this has a dodgy, dodgy removable rubber seal around the lid - once it comes loose or falls out, the thing's useless.

I've had 2 and gave up with the same issue occurring...the Autoseal ones are much better...no removable rubber bits.

You are right the rubber seals are a pain. But at £6.25 I have bought several so when they fail I will recycle the old one. Note if you mix up different lids with different containers you can have problems as different batches all fit but somehow are different (maybe changes in spec over the years) so make sure you use right lid with right base (says the man who has a draw full of them for the whole family). Most of their lids are colour coded tabs to match the base.

Horrid design lid for cleaning. The snap seal rubbers will be full of rubbish that you can't see. These are throwaway items.

Contigo mug with west loop autoseal is waaaaay better if you ever intend to put this mug into a bag/backpack. Snapseal tends to get opened by rubbing against other things if packed tightly with them. Otherwise this is a scorching price for an excellent travel mug.

I rate the West Loop cup, but this a great deal, all showing in stock at my Tesco so hopefully some left when I arrive.

Loads in my local Tesco (Kidderminster & it’s a crap one) so stock should be easy to get in store . Thanks OP

I've had one of these for years and the seal is very tight so it works perfectly. My only gripe (as rectified in other Contigo models) is that the pour hole is tiny

Drill machine will do the trick. Just make sure to go for concrete drill bit.

    Autoseal.

Don’t believe the hype - it only keeps drinks hot for about two hours (and that’s with preheating for 5 mins before filling). Seems to lose a fair bit of heat through the lid.

After two hours, temp of boiling water drops to about 66 degrees (similarly sized vacuum flask was 85 degrees). (edited)

Have you tried the SHO flasks? They are fantastic and I find them a lot better than these. Very reasonably priced as well with great customer service

Picked two up this morning, my first one the seal perished after about a year, started leaking. Very good for winter months and an absolute bargain at this price. Cheers OP.

They were full price on shelf at my local, I asked staff if they could check price of the biscay bay colour after she swiped clubcard and it showed up at £6.25. Anyone know if the sake colour is included in this offer? (edited)

A lot for what it is but, they are expensive everywhere.

Does anyone knows how is this compared to the Aldi’s Kirkton house stainless steel flask? Thank you
  32. beezneez's avatar
I bought a few last time these were on offer. They all go a bit funny "stained" metallic tasting. Might just be the funny water in the East Midlands but also happened with stainless travel mugs when I've lived elsewhere in the UK. Not-so-stainless steel. I must be missing something. I do wash them out at the end of the day or as soon after use with washing up liquid and water and a non scratch scourer. Annoying.
