    How many scart sockets?

    It is a monitor

Was tempted to order this for work, but the flickering screen comments have put me off, and may explain the price variations...They may have a "sticky product"...sales speak for a faulty unit they keep sending out until someone can't be bothered to return it.

This one is shipped from Amazon EU, hopefully, better luck this time round.

I had bought it a few days ago from a previous post of this monitor at £181 from Amazon. Sadly I returned it as mine had an intermittently flickering back light issue. Just bad luck I guess..
Ignoring the fault, it was a really good monitor with fully adjustable stand, so I bought it again. (edited)

I bought it at the same time too. I noticed mine flickering the other day so it may fell be going back too if it reoccurs.

Received it this morning and hooked it up. Tested with several LCD test videos from YouTube. Excellent uniformity. No dead pixels that I can detect. No flickering. So far so good!

I received mine last week, and I've been using it for just over a day for work, mainly coding.

It's good so far, no immediate issues like flickering or dead pixels. The only thing I don't like about it is that stand is a little wobbly. If I knock my desk, or move my mouse abruptly, the screen wobbles side to side.

I might try tightening the screw where the stand arm attaches to the base, although I'm fairly sure I tightened it as much as I dared.

Been using L28u-30s for 11months with zero problems. If this is the same monitor with an improved stand, highly recommended.

    Hdr10 too

It's just box ticking. This will not be able to display anything close to HDR unfortunately.

This monitor will probably need fractional scaling, otherwise at 28in 4K will make things very small. So consider how well your OS (especially if on Linux) does fractional scaling. Windows should be fine. (edited)

I must agree, it's definitely worth making sure the monitor is optimised to work correctly.

Literally just about to buy and it expired

Edit - 2 minutes later and the deal is back on. Amazon and their damn flash pricing!

    Ordered... thanks OP (edited)

Price has gone back up now.

Interesting as price has been reduced by £5 in a few minutes. Wonder what's going on there. (edited)

I bought this monitor for an offer a few Daga ago at £181 and it’s great. Working very well so far and no flickering issues on Mac Mini M2 like others are having. Overall, very happy with purchase and will recommend

    No issue with my monitor.
Even though your return window might be closed, you should still be able to have it replaced by Amazon.

Glad you're not having any further issues.

Also, can I ask, were you using this monitor connected to a Mac when you experienced the flickering issue on the first monitor you ordered?

When the flickering issue occurred yesterday, my Mac also lost track of the monitor's resolution setting and its "arrangement" position in relation to my other connected screens, making me think this is a software / driver bug, rather than a faulty backlight.
