Buying for that very reason. Heat.

This is the going rate, no? I own a few of these, paid £3 from all of them from various cheapo shops like B&M, Range, H&Bs. I think Asda just doubled the price then pretended like they're giving you a deal, pretty shady. (edited)

I would be wary about using these to stand on if you’re above average weight (I’m 90kg). I used to use it to reach the top shelf of my wardrobe but it gave way after a few months use. I went straight through it and badly hurt my ankle. Better off using small collapsible steps.

You have to make sure they are fully open or they can collapse on the sides

Has one of these since 2015. I'm using it as a foot rest at my computer setup. A bit too high to be honest.

    4/10 as a foot rest.

No need to suffer or put your back out due to poor ergonomics, would highly recommend getting a suitable height / adjustable one.
This is the adjustable one I've been using since 2014 amazon.co.uk/dp/…4K/, which has made a massive difference.
There are several cheaper ones, e.g. £18 amazon.co.uk/Wed…RGY
Many more to choose from here amazon.co.uk/s?k…est which you can further narrow down with the filtering options.

Picked one up at Asda Robroyston at 6pm tonight, sturdy little step. Bargain price, they had about 10 left on the shelf for sale.

Problem with these is that the plastic degrades. I bought a similar one years ago, and cracks started forming on it until it cracked all the way around, on the top. They bang on about plastics lasting forever and filling up landfill yet these last a couple of years before they start cracking, then you have to buy a new one.
