Got mine back in November 2011 on a Staples miss-price deal for £10 and it has just failed on me.
I can't believe it has been so long both using HUKD and owning the K400.

Is the trackpad still vomit-worthy on this model?

I've got 2 purchased about 1 year apart both sold and shipped from Amazon, 1 trackpad is good and the other feels completely different pretty bad also the finish is slightly different on each. (edited)

I've just returned two of these in a row; the same issue on both, that the right and left clicks 'click' but don't register half the time. It's amazingly frustrating...if you hear the click/pop, it should register, no if or buts. Had to go back to my trusty my slightly battered K400r, better in every way except the software.

Get the k380 and a travel mouse then thank me later. This keyboard is terrible, just try to type an email. Okay for media I guess

Indeed. This is a great keyboard for this design (lack of choice) and its decent enough for a media keyboard for zipping through the TV menus and search, but its got a lot of flex in it when typing even on a hard surface so you would not want this for anything more than occasional use.

We even got a load at work for meeting spaces and most sit unused due to this issue!

Just a bummer that you cannot control more than one dongle at a time (unless I'm missing something). As you say, though, they're fantastic.

No good as a media keyboard imo as no backlight.
Prefer this tbh. Decent solid keyboard and often on promo at £25 with ARTECK20POFF

Great addition for the Xbox too if you use the Edge browser, trackpad works like a charm in it.

I haven't used either but purely going by specs, biggest difference is size. Logitech one is twice the size and will be much more comfortable I think.

Thanks for posting I was looking for a keyboard for the PS5 I'm still not 100% sure it will work but looking through the comments on amazon some reviews had said it does work with the PS5 so here's hoping

Anyone come across a keyboard with built-in touchpad that operates on Bluetooth?

Or even a separate keyboard / mouse set which doesn't require a dongle and can connect directly to the computer's bluetooth?

    Something economical of course... (edited)

I'd like something like this for my Firestick but will need to be Bluetooth as no USB Port to plug the sender into (yeah I know know I can get an OTG cable but I dont want the extra clutter.). (edited)

I use one of these on an Nvidia shield, it's great for that use i.e. occasionally typing a show/movie name into search or if using a web browser the trackpad is useful. I wouldn't use it as a main keyboard where it would see a lot of use though.

It's also pretty waterproof so durable around kids. A full glass of lemonade got spilled on mine the first day I got it. Took the batteries out (which were dry) and ran it under the tap, it was good as new when dried out.
