Kingston A400 960GB SSD

Incredible speeds plus rock-solid reliability.

Kingston's A400 solid-state drive dramatically improves the responsiveness of your existing system with incredible boot, loading, and transfer times compared to mechanical hard drives. Powered by a latest-gen controller for read and write speeds up to 500MB/s and 450MB/s, this SSD is 10x faster than a traditional hard drive¹ for higher performance, ultra-responsive multi-tasking, and an overall faster system.

Also, more reliable and durable than a hard drive, A400 is built with Flash memory. There are no moving parts, making it less likely to fail than a mechanical hard drive. It's also cooler and quieter, and its shock and vibration resistance makes it ideal for notebooks and other mobile computing devices.

A400 is available in multiple capacities from 120GB-960GB to give you all the space you need for applications, videos, photos and other important documents. You can also replace your hard drive or a smaller SSD with a drive big enough to hold all your files.

Fast start-up, loading, and file transfers
More reliable and durable than a hard drive
Multiple capacities with space for applications or a hard drive replacement

Features

  • 10x faster than a HDD - With incredible read/write speeds the A400 SSD will not only increase performance but can also be used to breathe new life into older systems.

  • Multiple capacities - Available in 120GB, 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB capacities, A400 is designed to suit anyone's needs.

Yeah I've also had order cancelled because insufficient stock.

It must have been a misprice and they're not owning up, just cancelling

It's ridiculous what they do with cancelling. Instead of sending a full refund they tell you to *let them know* and waste even more of your time. Bet my money will be pending for a week
Plus in the cancellation email price says £25. Bunch of clowns (edited)

Yup, it's definitely made me think twice about using ebuyer again. I still remember when I tried to cancel an order a couple of years back. Basically, the cancel button was unavailable on the order page! By the time they responded to my request, it had been sent out and I had to refuse it at the door, not once, but twice! Big waste of time.

I'm not a fan of Kingston SSDs, but that's an amazing price for a 960GB - heat OP for the find.

Went all the way through paypal checkout, price was £30, back to eBuyer and they add £15 for postage to the Isle of Man. Postage via royal mail would be less than £5, with insurance. Madness.

Just had an email from ebuyer saying, "We're afraid we have insufficient stock for the following items."

So, they're now telling me that because it's not in stock I have to either "have them removed from the order" or I can substitute "an alternative that is in stock."

    Pretty poor.
