Managed to pick up one of these! Now to find out whether it's the fire-hazard version or not

That wouldn’t be able to sell the dodgy one. It will
Include the bits changed to make it safe.

PSU and case (compact) for this price isn't bad at all, I'm actually very tempted as it's quite a nice enclosure!

This isn’t the V2 btw, as they also sell that for double or triple the price

Surprised they've still got V1 stock, but these were £100, then £110 now up another tenner

I bought mine at £300 a few years ago, the price didn’t age well but it’s still holding up nicely

It's arrived, can confirm its the V1, but the power supply and front panel is good enough for my needs. The PCIe Riser looks to be the new (non-fire-hazard) version according to this video:

But then different again to the one GN received here:
    This video highlights the difference:

Edit to add: Photo of the hole in question without he screw in it, showing generous clearance to prevent threading the PCB.

Here are some photos of my new riser attachment on the problematic side. You can see it still has the extra mounting holes, but watching GN's videos I think it will be okay. I'm still going to replace both screws with some Nylon ones in an abundance of caution. Fire scares me t

Used this case for a while but it was hitting temperatures that weren't dangerous but meant that I couldn't hit max boost clock on a 3080 + 5800X3D, though these components are known to run hot and it still didn't run at much under max boost so not bad at all, would be perfectly for a slightly lower powered system.
